Hi sherry! This is Yafah. My people parents are Bart and Pat.
Just an up date to show you where I 'work' and make people happy. I
love making these human folks happy. My mom and dad and bros take good
care of me. People say that I am pretty and smart too. Imagine that!
Say hello to Goldie my first mom and Kujo too.
Kisses to you sherry.
Love Yafah

this is Yafah again. I just wanted to add to the last letter that I
will be certified when I am one years old. I go to obedience classes
now and know a lot of things. It is fun for me. I have a lot of dog
friends and people friends. Next Spring I will be expanding my therapy
into hospitals for cancer victims. I want to show you how pretty I am
from these photos. All the woods and land I run on have given me health
happiness and beauty. My mom spoils me with treats and lots of love. I
love saying hello to her students. Today I chases two deer off of our
property and on Sunday I barked at a baby bird that fell out of her
nest. My mom put her back. My human parents are thinking about getting
another of you pups in a year or two. It will be nice to have a friend
to care for this land with me.
With happiness and contentment,
Yafah

Hi Grandma Sherry! This is Yafah again. I love, love LOOOOOOVVVVE
little ones. This little girl came into class today and I smothered her
with kisses! I seem to sense the vulnerability in the human folks and
am very gentle with people. I am told I help many people. This makes
me feel so good.
A couple more to go. I think my mom wants to write now.
Love and kisses from your Yafah!
Yafah and her proud mom, Patricia

>Hi Sherry--I thought you would wish to know that Yafah (Goldie and Kujo litter 1/20/06) is an angel. We had a bizarre situation ocurre recently. Someone had an accident and his car went into a telephone pole which created a domino affect creating an electrical surge throughout the area. Oblivious to this and just into my work, I was in my art studio and heard Yafah frantically barking outside. (Now, she is not a barker or yapper, rarely has she ever barked actually). She is as laid back and loving as they come... Knowing this, I went outside to where she was, barking and yodeling and looking upwards in urgence. Following her eyes I quickly saw that my pine trees and electrical wire was one fire!!!! I called 911, called NIMO, called my husband. The fire dept. came and cut the circuit breaker and I pulled out all the appliance plugs to our home. Soon the fire was out and although we were without electricity for a couple of days---we were safe, our home was safe, as was everything else. Many nieghbors in the area were without electricity for days and days and all thier appliances were fried from the electrical cross surge. T.V's were on fire, computers broke, etc. smoke was everywhere! So bizaare!

>Our Yafah is an angel. :) I bought her a big juicey bone. Couldn't thank her enough. it was just par for the course for her, my girl, my angle. She is only 6 1/2 months old but I feel like she has been part of my heart all my life. What a blessing and gift your little white ---now big white ---puppy girl is.

>thank you Sherry.... here's a kiss from Yafah (she is not a barker but certainly IS a big licker big time)!

Hello Grandma Sherry.... I am dictating this note to you to my mom because my paws are too big to type. ;-)
My mom's computer was messed up for about a month and I wasn't able to write to you. I am next to her all the time and when I am not, I care for many people and care for the land. My mom calls me her white shadow.
Things have a nice rhythm again. My Mom's sister Mary just left from Oregon. She was nice. My family had many visitors this summer. I loved them all. I was very good and they liked me too, especially the children. I love the children.
These are some photos of just me. I am about 70 pounds now and not even a year yet. I am very beautiful. Everyone asks what kind of dog am I. Well they ask my family anyway! ;-)
I will update you on my therapy training Grandma Sherry and I will send photos of my Halloween custom that I will be wearing to the nursing homes.
Good luck and peace,
Yafah and her family and land.
Yafah at Halloween 2006 making everyone around her very happy.
A big Yafah kiss.
After work, Yafah relaxes with a nice chew toy.
When Yafah relaxes, she really RELAXES!

Hi Grandma Sherry... I just graduated from Intermediate Class last night and wanted to show you my mom and me with my graduation cap. I will be going for a "Good citizens certification/therapy certification" next summer or Fall. I am very calm and extremely good natured and smart but very much a happy-- licking-- loving-- puppy so my mom thinks I should wait until I am calmer before I go into serious therapy. She just loves me so much! I love everyone too! I am so HAPPY! For now I continue to visit the nursing home and despite my 80 pounds I am aiming to be a puppy experiencing my first winter in NY. I will turn one year on the 20th of January. What are my siblings doing these days?
talk soon. I will send you a Christmas card soon.
with love ,
Yafah.

Hi again. Just this afternoon I got the royal treatment at our groomers with a washing, blow drying, clipping my privates, cleaning my ears and cutting my nails!!! They even gave me a Christmas bow that I am wearing now! I am getting ready to sleep now In the other photos, I didin't like the cap, as you can probably tell. My teacher made me wear it for only a minute or so and then I shook it off. I am happier when I am jumping and running free on my folks land and walking and sprinting in thier woods, guarding my territory or caring for all the lonely people in this world.
see ya--i'm tired, good night Grandma Sherry--
Yafah
