In the pasture, Lily and babes watch the Barbado Sheep heading out to Shefaro Park. Sighthounds and small livestock don't mix, so my place is fenced with cattle panels backed by no-climb fence.

April 2008 I am very proud of Lara and Vanya as they graduate from Triple Crown Dog Training Academy. Lara is a certified dog trainer. Shefaro's Vanya is her training dog and best friend.

A sunny Winter South Texas day, the goats are coming in from Shefaro Park. The coastal grasses have turned brown, but there is still plenty of good pasture to graze. Spring rains will turn it green again.

Lily smoked 'em! Check out her page to see the competition - American Sighthound Field Association lure courses - Hutto, Texas - Saturday Alamo Area Whippet Club - Sunday Lone Star Borzoi Club - two days, five field champions came in from Florida. Lily won Best of Breed and now has 40 points and two first placements required for her ASFA field championship. Spirit gave her a run for her money, but she beat him each time by two points (146-144) He's picking up steam.

Honore thought lure coursing was great except when she spotted the judges sitting off to the side (judging). She knew they came to see her and went over to socialize. The photographer was with the judges. You can see the look on her face as she headed toward them.

Lure coursing was a blast! Lily finished her Senior Courser title while Spirit won two more legs toward his SC. He needs one more to finish. We lure coursed at Glen Rose, Texas, Afghan Hound Club of Dallas.
