March 3, 2012 - FIELD CHAMPION Black Beauty. She finished her Field Championship with Best of Breed from the Open Class for a three point major. She is the National Lure Coursing Championship Best in Field winner December 4, 2012. In limited lure coursing, she has had at least three bests in field and finished with 3-5-3 point majors.

Last Saturday, Black Beauty finished her Field Championship. This weekend was Tiger's with Winners Dog on Friday and Sunday from the Bred by Exhibitor class. Next Field trials are March 17-18, 2012 then March 31-April 1, 2012
Anya is in training for therapy work. She's learning to respond to a variety of commantds.

April 15, 2012 another future Shefaro Saluki Field trial Champion - Tali Hoffman starts out her career with a bang!

Another Best in Field for Black Beauty, our last field competition of the season April 21, 2012 This was the Houston Area Hound Association's first AKC lure coursing event. Black Beauty won Best of Breed both days in very worthy competition, earning her about a dozen Bowen points.
The best of Shefaro is Shefaro Temperament.
Everyone was shocked to see how naturaly she took to her service dog testing. She was a pro and everyone thought she had been doing it for years. Such an excellent girl! She has experienced so much in the past week and acted like she had been doing it all her life...even I was shocked about the escalator.

May 5, 2012 - Grand Prize winner - Shefaro's Edytah Daigle, JC - at the City of La Porte 6th Annual Dog Show. She was entered in, and won, Most Glamorous, and went on to win it all. Shown by her mom, Peggy! Way to go girls!!!

Our primary goal is to offer sheep and goats for pets and agricultural exemptions, working livestock guardian dogs to guard herds and flocks on farms and ranches, strictly for agricultural purposes. Our secondary goal is top performance sighthounds for field trials and performance events. To that end, we have multiple Best in Field competitors. We also have sighthounds available for SERVICE AND THERAPY training. Greyhound Rescue has become a primary goal as well. Bexata Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue.
