Sherry,
I feel like we haven't been in touch for awhile. How are you and the pooches doing? Ali is doing just great. She is sooooo spoiled her, but I can't help myself. I will take any more retired show girls that you have without a second thought. She is just perfect for me! Ken laughs at me about the way I talk to her and how I baby her, but I don't pay it any mind. Ali and I are the only two females in the house and we are very strongly bonded together. I really do hope that we can visit your ranch some day. I think my sons would love it, especially my oldest who just adores Ali too. Well, write when you can and I hope all is well on the with you and the animals.
Kindly,
Heather

Hi Sherry, Everyday or two I think of you as I see my dog next to me...I LOVE my Borzoi makes my life so full I wanted to send some pictures of her to you. I also have a friend who is interested in your liestock guard dogs. She has one dog from Afganistan
ans loves her personality and would love to have a companion for her. she thinks the dog is closely related to the dogs from Turkeybecause the dog was living with people from that area. You'll see her dog with Katya in the pics.

Dear Sherry,
First, let me thank you for going to the trouble of scanning and sending the picture of Rodrigo for me. I can't tell you how much I loved it! When I saw his portrait online, I couldn't help but want one for my own. He's so regal and deserves not only my couch but my wall as well...It looks like we might be heading your way! Texas, here we come!! We would love to bring him by for a little reunion if you'd allow it... Something tells me you might. ; )
Getting back to Dear Rodrigo, I could never tell you how much he means to me. He is my constant companion. I love him more than anything. I have so many funny stories to share with you, but I need to pick up my oldest at choir practice right now. I just wanted to start up a correspondence with you and let you know that I look forward to getting to know you.
Sincerely,
Hillary

Hi Sherry!
Yesterday we celebrated Gypsy's first birthday. She was born July 7, 2009 and I wanted to share a photo of her with you.
Gypsy is an absolutely love. She is very affectionate and has the most wonderful temperament! She especially has a soft spot for neighborhood children and would rather be loved on than eat. :) On our daily walks, she's always on the look out to make new friends and meet up with old ones. She will flop down (belly first) in the front yard of anyone she's decided is her friend, staring at their front door trying to 'will' them to come outside and pet her.
She's the darling of the neighborhood. :)
Pardon her dirty face in the photo. She loves to dig and often uses her nose (as well as her paws) to push dirt around. In the heat this summer though, she's digging a little less since she's spending most of the time in the AC.
Thank you for allowing us to have Gypsy as a member of our family. She is priceless.

Hi Sherry!
My name is Emily and I bought an Anatolian girl from you in August 2008, out of Bubba and Rose. I was just looking at your website and was wondering if you were planning on having another Anatolian litter any time soon? My girl is happy, healthy, beautiful and well-behaved and is an awesome representative of her breed!
Thanks,
Emily

Joseph,
Thank you for coming out to the SARQuest dog evaluations. We all enjoyed meeting you and Edy. We are pleased to let you know that we believe Edy exhibits the correct drive and behavior that could potentially lead him/her to be a successful search-and-rescue dog.
We want to invite you to train with us. We will be having practices every weekend starting, 9/11/10. We ask that you come to the first few practices without your dog so that you can see how we conduct our practices and exactly what type of training is involved.
Kind regards,
Lynley

Kip took those. He's takes excellent pictures. Travis is seriously such a beautiful, sweet dog with the best disposition. Everyone falls in love with him that comes over. And all the dogs that come over for a visit just love playing with him. And he is so good with all of our friends' kids. Have you heard about any of his siblings? I just wonder if they are all as perfect as him.

Dear Ms. Rodarmer -
I flat fell in love with your website! I was in tears before I even got to the goat section, just enjoying your sense of patriotism & principles which have become so VERY rare these days in our society. Then, to read about your core beliefs re producing show goats, etc., you had me hook, line & sinker. Amazingly, we both have spotted Nubian bucks who could be twin brothers... (a photo of Bocephus, my buck, is attached).
My partner & I will be in San Antonio visiting family over Thanksgiving (Wed, 24th, thru Saturday, 27th).
We have a very small place just NE of Mobile, Alabama. Unfortunately, quality Boer goats are hard to come by here. We seem to find mongrels in every direction, but no 100% or high-percentage stock...
Being a former Aggie, over the last year I have become determined to obtain a couple of good doelings of quality Boer blood from my Native Texas.
Is it possible that next month you might have a few kids that just happened to be born out of sync with the rest of the herd? I am not looking for show prospects, just pure breeding stock to produce meaty kids for our own table...
With over 30 years of raising goats, I would certainly be interested in taking any bottle babies off your hands, as I tend to have very good luck with them... (I have 4 Nubians at home with plenty of good milk, but would probably travel with replacer mix to get them home.) Yes, I'm a sucker. It seems every year we have 1 or 2 "house goats," who spend the early mornings in an office chair, curled up as I tend to my Emails, etc...
What I would like to do is visit to see any kids you might have available & take a couple back to Mama's overnight before we hit I-10 for the long ride back to Alabama. Of course, they would be lap babies for the ride back... ;p (Our daughter is following us in another vehicle & has room for a nice box in the back seats. She's a vet tech & another "sucker" like me.)
If it would be possible to visit your ranch hoping to find a little doe or two over the Thanksgiving holiday, please let me know. We do not wish to intrude upon your family gathering, of course. We would plan to keep our visit quite short so as not to inconvenience you... I am trying to plan things out in advance as we will have very few days in Texas (never enough).
I also have potbelly pigs here, who keep our plum orchard mowed & weeded, along with some naughty chickens & about 4 rescued dogs & a respectable herd of cats. Since my daughter moved back home, we have gained 3 more neutered male cats, a guinea pig, & a leopard-spotted gecko... We also have a raccoon we raised from approx. 2 days old, when she was abandoned during a storm by the mother who was apparently attempting to move her den. Cassie the Coon is not our pet, but rather, we are HER pets. She lives in the woods & keeps her own schedule, but returns at milking times for a snack of goats' milk & dog food... (photo enclosed).
You are a person I feel I would very much like to meet in person, as your website has truly touched my heart.
Sincerely yours,
Melanie

We had 2 grizzlies show up this last fall but they didnt stick around very long as the dogs went balistic!!! Yea!!!! Anyway hope your holidays are wonderful!!

Dear Sherry
Sadie(Mercedes) arrived this morning at 1:00 am. It was like a dream. Love at first sight. Which I am glad to say, I was worried that I would not feel like that. She is beautiful, sweet, well tempered and lovely. We feed her and walked her and played for awhile, then put her to bed. She cried for 5 or 6 min. We pulled the crate close to the bed so that I could put my hand through to her and talked softly until she went to sleep. She slept off and on until 6:30 and woke up, ate, walked, pottied and slept again. She had soil her bedding and crate on the way. We bathed her, cleaned her crate and laundered he bedding. She came to visit at lunch and we played. This afternoon we are going to play, sit and read and love. Can't wait!
Thank you so much for a lovely puppy. I will write next week and hope to have pics.
Again thank you!
Lani
